When purchasing a LINK (SupraLink) ECU, you will find that it does not come with any casing. You are expected to remove the casing from a stock 2JZGTE ECU (top & bottom), and fit these to the SupraLink ECU. This poses a HUGE problem as most of us are using these on a 2JZ-GE NA-T car. The 2JZ-GE ECU is smaller, so you CANNOT use the casing.

This leaves you stuck with no casing to fit to the SupraLink ECU.

The SupraLink is fully compatible with both the 2JZGTE and 2JZ-GE stock harnesses. It will plug straight in.

The 2JZ-GE however, will need a few upgrades to run properly with this incredible ECU.

1. Cam/Crank trigger kit.

2. Coil on Plug kit.

3. IAT (intake Air Temperature Sensor).-See JDM FFIM harness kit.

4. MAP sensor (JDM cars already have this but need to swap to either Link MAP sensor, or a stock GTE MAP sensor). SC300's will need the SupravWorld MAF to MAP for SC300.

The SupraLink ECU also has two expansion connectors and two CAN bus ports coming straight from the PCB. This clear case gives you the holes needed to run these looms out of the ECU and has a slide cap to fit them in either ease. Traditionally people were drilling holes in the top of the stock GTE cover and running wires out, then joining connectors afterwards. This ment the harness was stuck to the case and couldn't be separated. Also wire would get cut on the sharp edges on the holes.

There is also an LED light that is on the SupraLink PCB, which aluminates when your Laptop connects to the ECU. This clear cover enables you to see this. Traditionally you would need to unscrew and remove the lid to see if the LED was on or off when experiencing connection problems.

This Clear cover is the top part, the lower part will be available very soon.
